Q: How long will a typical reface job take?
A: Average sized kitchens are done in 1 to 3 days. If there are a lot of modifications or a custom countertop to install the job may go a little longer. This does not happen too often.
Q: Do you come to our home to give us ideas?
A: Yes, we offer free in-home design consultations. I will bring sample doors for you to inspect. Together we will design your new kitchen, finalize your choices and prepare a written proposal and a firm price.
Q: Will refacing mess up my countertop, flooring, tile, wallpaper, etc?
A: No. That is the beauty of refacing. We can work around all of those things.
Q: Will the material peel off?
A: No. Once this material is stuck on it’s there to stay. We use a 3M stick on the back which is time proven to adhere permanently once put on.
Q: As an end product, do refaced cabinets actually look brand new?
A: By using a high-quality product and master installers, yes, they will look brand new. We use 5/8” panels on all of the sides and an A grade veneer for the face frames. Once the cabinet boxes have a new “skin” we install custom made doors, drawer fronts and molding.
Q: How much can I save by refacing instead of replacing my cabinets?
A: You will save up to 65% by refacing versus purchasing new cabinets. If you install new cabinets you will have to replace the countertop and maybe the flooring if the new cabinet footprint does not match. You will have sheetrock and wallpaper to repair and painting to do. Your tile or backsplash may have to be modified. You may also need an electrician and a plumber. Don’t forget the permits. The only time it makes sense to replace is if you want to move the location of the sink or move a wall. This project will take a lot longer to complete.
Q: Do you do countertops?
A: We offer a large selection of laminate (Arborite) countertop as well as Quartz and Granite. Ask our sales team for you free countertop quote on any of these styles.
Q. Do you offer a warranty?
A. Yes. We offer a five year “no hassle” warranty on the product and 1 year warranty on the service.
